Our Home Sessions run every Friday during school term time.

Fridays are split into two:

​

10am - 12pm  CAST group.

​

1pm onwards Get Fishing beginners sessions.

​

The Get Fishing award takes absolute beginners and teaches them the very basics. This is usually done over 2 x 1 hour sessions, which are free of charge.  Click for more details on Get Fishing.

Once a student has completed their Gold Get Fishing award, they can then join the group CAST sessions.  These sessions are 2 hours long and cost £20 per student.  All equipment and bait is provided.  Click for more info on the CAST course.

Due to the type and size of fish we regularly catch, the minimum age for these sessions is 8 yrs old.

​

All CAST students also benefit from being able to join our other events that we hold regularly throughout the year such as Social Sundays.  We also give out donated fishing tackle to our CAST students to help them get setup and out fishing on their own.

​

During school holidays, Friday session are open to all CAST students.

​

All sessions are held at Oakham Farm Coarse Fishing and must be prebooked.
